(NASDAQ: FCSE), Focus Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in Ultra
Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, video conversion and digital media, today
announced that it has been granted equipment authorization for its UWB Hub and
Dongle development platform from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). With
this latest approval, the PHY for Focus Enhancements' TT1013 UWB system received
authorization as a modular transmitter for band group one.

"FCC certification of our PHY represents a key milestone for us on our way to a
production solution," said Michael Ngo, vice president of engineering for Focus
Enhancements semiconductor group. "This achievement validates our claim that our UWB
solution provides a robust radio that customers can depend on for high speed
multi-media transmissions."

The PHY is an integral part of the TT1013 UWB system in a package currently
available in engineering samples. The device is expected to be qualified and
available for wireless USB and multi-media streaming applications in the fourth
quarter 2008.
